Welcome to the Wolfe County High School webpage. Our mission is "Every Wolfe County High School Graduate College & Career Ready." We take this mission very seriously and always connect this motto to everything we do here, where students are concerned. Located in a rural mountainous area, close to the Red River Gorge, WCHS includes more than 350 students, 21  teachers,  13 support staff and 4 administrative support. The dedicated faculty and staff strive to provide a safe, positive learning environment with the objective of developing college & career ready students who can be successful and productive citizens in a highly competitive global society.

We are very proud of our school's achievements, both academically and through our extracurricular activities, and will continue to strive for excellence. WCHS continuously works hard to provide education and opportunity to make students more successful and better citizens of our community.

Parents and stakeholders are always welcome at WCHS and we invite you to come to the high school for an organized event, athletic or academic event, or to check on a son's or daughter’s progress in a class. Teachers, parents, community organizations and supporting individuals are all essential components and must work together to produce students ready to compete in today’s world.

As we look at continually improving, we welcome input on how we can improve as a school. Please feel free to call or stop by for a visit to learn more about Wolfe County High School.
