Wolfe County High School Recognized by U.S. News and World Report

 

Congratulations to the students, parents and staff of Wolfe County High School for being named a Bronze Medal  school by U.S. News and World Report.   Only 29.5% of high schools in the United States achieve medal status from U.S. news:2.4% gold, 10.3% silver and 16.8% bronze and no medal to 79.5%.

Medal status is chosen for schools who perform better than expected for their state, whose students are prepared for college-level coursework, and have a graduation rate that exceeds the national average.

This is the second time that Wolfe County High School has been awarded Bronze Medal status.
