Mrs. Ashley Phipps is a 2007 Graduate of the College of Agriculture at the University of Kentucky. Prior to taking the position of Family and Consumer Science Educator at Wolfe County High School, Mrs. Phipps worked as a Development Officer for the University of Kentucky. She completed graduate school at Eastern Kentucky University with a Master of Arts in Education degree.
She is the 2016 recipient of the Kentucky F.A.C.S. New Professional of the year award and the 2019 & 2020 Region 12 "Rockstar" award. She is currently serving as president of the Kentucky Association of Teachers of Family and Consumer Sciences.
At Wolfe County High School, Mrs. Phipps teaches Child Development Services 1 & 2, Early Lifespan Development, ServSafe Manager Certification, Family and Consumer Sciences Essentials (Life Skills), and Culinary Arts 2. She is also advisor to the Career and Technical Student Organization known as Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America.
