KSP HOLDS SECURITY TRAINING AT WOLFE COUNTY SCHOOLS

Recently the Kentucky State Police held intensive afterschool trainings at each of the area schools. On separate days the staff of Wolfe County Schools were put through a rigorous active emergency event training focusing on quick reactions, analyzing surroundings and how to ensure that children are kept as safe as possible.  The KSP placed staff in actual live active shooter scenarios over the course of the four hour training. In addition to the training Wolfe County Schools practice lock down drills and other emergency type drills in our schools.  Wolfe County Schools would like to thank the KSP and board members for bringing this unique and invaluable training to our schools to assist us in making our schools as safe as possible for our students.
