Wolfe County Elementary Students Visit Vocational Technical School

Recently Wolfe County Schools elementary students visited the Vocational-Technical School in Lee County.  The school serves Wolfe County and Lee County students in course programming areas ranging from nursing to electrical to auto tech.  The school combines technical and academic learning to help students to be college and career ready.   In a highly competitive and global job market earlier career and technical education is vital for our students. Introducing elementary students to vocational-technical training and programs helps them to begin to form plans and ideas about which career or college paths they may choose.  Students who begin planning ahead for post high school decisions at an early age will be better prepared for success. Wolfe County Schools would like to thank all staff that made this experience possible and thanks as well to the Lee County Vocational-Technical School for providing this opportunity for our students.
