RED RIVER ELEMENTARY PARENTS WIN FIRST NINE WEEKS ATTENDANCE DRAWING
RED RIVER ELEMENTARY PARENTS WIN FIRST NINE WEEKS ATTENDANCE DRAWING
Wolfe County Schools understand that good school attendance is not only a key to academic success but it is also a key factor in success in college or career.  Additionally, good school attendance helps to promote attendance habits that will help students to be successful as future citizens and family leaders. Wolfe County Schools recognize that PARENTS are a huge influence in how students view regular school attendance.  In recognition of those parents who had students who had perfect attendance in the first nine weeks of school a drawing was recently held.  A student’s name that had perfect attendance in the first nine weeks had their name randomly selected and their parents received a gift card donated by a local business.  The first winner of this drawing for an ACE Hardware gift card was Mike and Jennifer Wilson, parents of Lane Barnett.   Lane is a second grader at Red River Elementary.  Wolfe County Schools would like to extend a huge thanks to all the parents who help encourage their children to attend school, be on time and stay the full day.  Wolfe County Schools would also like to thank ACE Hardware for their generous donation and for supporting Wolfe County Schools.  Pictured above Lane Barnett.
