WOLFE COUNTY SCHOOLS AND KSP HAVE SCHOOL SAFETY MEETING
WOLFE COUNTY SCHOOLS AND KSP HAVE SCHOOL SAFETY MEETING

Recently Wolfe County School administrators and school board members met with KSP representatives to discuss school safety and security issues.  Troopers Jim Bowling and Brian Bowling of Ky. State Police Post #8 met with school principals, district administrators, and school board members to outline the latest findings in security for schools.  The troopers presented a program they are offering to all schools in the area they cover that will offer trainings and information to all school staff of each school in a county or school district to help them be better prepared to deal with emergency situations. All Wolfe County Schools will receive this training.  Wolfe County Schools was the first district in the post area to request this initial meeting and follow up training for their staff.  Wolfe County Schools want to provide a safe and secure environment for our students.  A special thanks to school board member Danny Linkous for discovering this program.  A huge thanks to Troopers Jim and Brian Bowling for taking the time to initiate this program for Wolfe County Schools.  Pictured above Wolfe County School administrators, school board members and KSP Troopers, Jim and Brian Bowling.
