Wolfe County Schools Get Off To Good Start

On August 6th Wolfe County Schools kicked off the 2015-2016 school year.  Staff and administration of Wolfe County Schools were excited to meet and greet students and families.   New and more expanded technology, exciting educational initiatives, Snowbound snow days program, a new aeronautics program at the high school, and much more will make 2015-2016 a great school year for our students.  Additionally, Wolfe County High School has added a new program that will allow students reaching certain benchmarks on their ACT to begin college classes as 11th graders and leave Wolfe County High School with the equivalent of two years of college classes completed along with their high school diploma.  Wolfe County Schools transportation department and food services have also added technology and programs that will enhance these services.  Exciting new facilities projects are also in the planning stages that will add to the educational environment at each of our schools.  Wolfe County Schools look forward to a great school year and to being a leader in Kentucky in education and innovative programs.
