Wolfe County Youth Soccer Ends Season

Wolfe County Youth Soccer ended its season recently.  With nearly 100 players in ages ranging from 4 to 12 the league had another very successful season.  The games in all age groups were highly competitive and hard fought.  Soccer is a very physically demanding and mentally challenging sport that is growing in popularity across the United States. It has for many years been the most popular sport on a global scale. Wolfe County Youth Sports Soccer would like to thank all families, players, and fans for making this a great season.  A special thanks to our coaches;  Renae Cannon, Brittany Hollon, Brian Creech, Chris Smith, Will Oliver, Brandon McWhorter, Zach Collier, Steve Johnson, and Chris Carroll.  A thanks to our officials; Dakota Parks, Kamron Caldwell, and Dan Combs.  Also thanks to the following businesses for their support of our league; Dairy Queen and Viper Graphix.  A special thanks to the following individuals for helping with field maintenance, setup, and many other tasks and services;  Lucas Miller, Benny Campbell, Charles Campbell,  Gary Brown,  Mark Miller, Dorse Carson, the Wolfe County High Soccer team, Brandy Turner, Lauren Risner, Amy Phipps and the Red River Elementary 6th Grade, and Cora Roberts Photography.   A huge thanks to the Wolfe County Board of Education for their support of Wolfe County Youth Sports. Finally, thanks to anyone who helped in any way to make this a great experience for these young players. Wolfe County Youth Sports looks forward to another great season in 2016.
