With several weeks passed in the new school year all Wolfe County Schools have shown improved attendance in comparison to last year at this time. Wolfe County Middle School leads all schools in improved attendance percentage and recently posted two consecutive days with only one student absent each day. Rogers Elementary leads all school in attendance for the year at this point. Campton Elementary, Red River Elementary and Wolfe County High School have also improved their attendance rates over last year at this same point. School attendance is crucial not only for instruction, learning and social development but is also crucial to developing attendance habits that will help students as they progress through school and later enter the workforce or college. Wolfe County Schools thanks all students, staff and families for their focus on school attendance.
