Wolfe County Schools Announces New Start Date

Wolfe County Board of Education voted to start school for students on August 24, 2020.

At the Wolfe County Board of Education Special Meeting on July 29, 2020 all board members voted to ammend the 20-21 school calendar so students will begin in person and/or NTI classes on August 24, 2020.

Parents can choose to send their child to school for in person class or Non-Traditional Instruction(NTI).  The registration link for parents to choose which instructional method is best for their child/children can be found at this link or you can call 606-668-8003 to register.  If you have not already completed this form please do so as soon as possible so schools can prepare for instruction to both In-Person and NTI students.

In person class will be held on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday of each week.  Wednesday will be NTI instruction for all students.  This will give teachers time to focus on NTI students and continue to plan for the days ahead.  Custodians will also utilize Wednesday to continue to clean and sanitize the schools.
