PRECAUTIONS FOR COVID -19

 

*MASKS WILL BE WORN INSIDE SCHOOL BUILDINGS AT ALL TIMES PER GUIDANCE FROM STATE

*HEALTH SCREENINGS BEFORE ENTERING BUILDING INCLUDING  REQUIRED INCLUDING TEMP CHECK

*STAGGERED ENTRY AND EXIT INTO AND FROM BUILDINGS

*FREQUENT HAND WASHING

*SOCIAL DISTANCING TO THE GREATEST EXTENT POSSIBLE

*REDUCED CLASS SIZES FOR GREATER SOCIAL DISTANCING

*FREQUENT SANITATION OF HIGH TOUCH AREAS

*EXTRA STAFF TO HELP SANITIZE WILL BE HIRED USING COVID-19 FEDERAL FUNDS

*SANITIZING DESKS IF DIFFERENT STUDENTS USE SAME DESK AT DIFFERENT TIME

*OPEN WINDOWS IN CLASSROOMS WHEN POSSIBLE

*INCREASED OUTSIDE AIR INTAKE IN HVAC SYSTEMS

*ONE WAY TRAFFIC IN HALLWAYS

*ISOLATION ROOMS FOR ANYONE WHO EXHIBITS A TEMPERATURE WILL BE USED WHILE WAITING FOR THAT INDIVIDUAL TO GO HOME

*RECESS AT ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS WILL BE SOCIAL DISTANCED

*TEACHERS MAY TAKE STUDENTS OUTSIDE TO TEACH CERTAIN CONCEPTS

*CONTACT TRACING

*IMMEDIATE REPORTING TO HEALTH DEPARTMENT

*GROUPING AND KEEPING STUDENTS IN PODS WHEN POSSIBLE

*MASKS WORN ON SCHOOL BUSES AND OUTSIDE AIR LET IN –REDUCED STUDENTS RIDING BUS, PARENTS ENCOURAGED TO TRANSPORT

*TRANSPARANCY IN LETTING PUBLIC KNOW OF COVID-19 CASES IN OUR SCHOOL WITH STAFF OR STUDENTS (HAVE TO FOLLOW HIPPA)

*QUICKLY CONTACTING PARENTS OF STUDENTS WHO MAY HAVE HAD CLOSE CONTACT EXPOSURE
