Executive Assistant to Governor Beshear visits DSCH
DSCH Campus Director Steve Middleton, Executive Assistant to the Governor Coleman Eldridge, and DSCH School Principal Robert Scott Creech
On Thursday May 13, 2008, Executive Assistant to Governor Steve Beshear and Director of The Governor's Office of Faith-based Initiatives and Community Involvement, Colman Elridge III visited the Campus of Dessie Scott Children's Home.  During his visit, Mr. Elridge toured the campus and spent some time with our students.  He was highly impressed with our school and VERY complimentary to our students and staff.  He spoke at length with our students about his job responsibilities and the visions of the Beshear administration as it pertained to them.  He also had a question and answer session and even discovered that he and one of our students shared the same hometown!!!
Mr. Elridge planned to report back to Governor Beshear about all of the positive things going on at the campus and school of Dessie Scott.  He plans on returning for another visit and is in hopes that the Governor himself will stop by for a visit.
We would like to thank Mr. Elridge and Governor Beshear for seeking out our school for a visit and all of the compliments and information we received at this visit.
