Constitution Day and Tree Dedication

On Thursday, September 16th, Rogers Elementary celebrated Constitution Day. All grades participated in various activities to celebrate this Day. Classes said the pledge, recited poems and sang “God Bless America” to commemorate this day. During the program, we also had a tree dedication for two wonderful teachers that previously taught at R.E.S. The first one was dedicated in honor of Mrs. Frances Brooks and the second one was in memory of Mrs. Alene Miller. Mr. Kendall Clark, former R.E.S. principal, spoke before the school on behalf of both teachers. Then, Mrs. Brooks and Mrs. Miller’s family were presented with a plague thanking them for their years of service to the Wolfe County school system. Thanks to Mrs. Brooks and Mrs. Miller’s family for attending our program and also a big thanks to Mr. Clark for being a part of our program.
