WOLVES GEAR UP FOR BIG WEEKEND
TO PLAY IN COACHES VS. CANCER CLASSIC AND SCHOOLS FIRST GAME AT RUPP ARENA

The Wolfe County Wolves are preparing for a HUGE weekend of basketball. On Friday night, the Wolves travel to Whitesburg at Letcher County High School to play in the Mountain Coaches vs. Cancer Classic as part of the Jimmy V. Cancer Foundation. The opponent Friday night will be the Letcher County Cougars. The game will be played at 7:30 p.m. All proceeds from the admission money for this event are donated to the Jimmy V. Cancer Foundation in honor of the late North Carolina State basketball coach.   Wolfe County High School is honored to be able to help with such a worthwhile cause.
On Sunday, the Wolves travel to Lexington to take on the Pikeville Panthers in the schools first-ever game in RUPP ARENA. Game time is set for 1:00 pm. The team is really excited for this opportunity and would like to invite the entire community to share this special occasion with them. Tickets are still available at WCHS if you would like to call or stop by the school. If you aren’t able to pre-purchase a ticket you can also buy them at Rupp Arena before the game. We hope to show the rest of the state that our fans are second to none!!!!
