The Collier Family Memorial Scholarship is given annually in memory of Hazel Collier Booth to help broaden math and science educational opportunities to students of Wolfe County High School. It is a one time award to a student or students planning to attend a 4-year university in pursuit of a degree in math, science, or a related field.
The Mercy International Scholarship Program for Higher Education is not a one-time award, but instead seeks to help meet the higher education needs of students pursuing post-secondary learning in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics and related fields. Award amounts are based on financial need, academic initiative, and leadership activities. Students can continue to receive assistance through the program as long as they continue in their higher education.
