Wolfe County STEM Program

Since 2014, Wolfe County Schools has partnered with Mercy International to offer a free STEM camp to serve students in Wolfe and surrounding counties. Projects vary with each year, but perennial topics include a Rube Goldberg design challenge, 3D printing, computer programming and web design, electrical systems, alternative energy, engineering design challenges and probability carnival games.

We plan the projects for students entering grades 5-9, but we encourage current high school students to apply for leadership roles and to help mentor younger students in completing their projects.
