STEM Camp 2019

This students participate in a Rube Goldberg Design Challenge. The challenge for this year is to unzip a zipper! Stay tuned to see what engineering marvels the students will build to complete the task!

The students use TinkerCAD to design a rubber band-powered race car. They will use 3D printers to print the designs and assemble them to race against each other.

The students design and build websites using Google Sites. They are able to publish their own websites using the tools and space already provided with their school technology account.

The students design and build carnival games to challenge each other and their parents on the last day of camp. They learn about how probability helps determine how often someone wins at their games or whether anyone can win at all!

The students learn about alternative energy storage with hydroelectricity and use electricity to create unique Lichtenberg figures.
